How much will I get?
We can’t tell you that exactly without knowing more about your item, but we’re confident that the amount we pay to buy jewelry and diamonds is more than our competitors. Unfortunately, retail diamond jewelry and watch sellers enjoy some of the highest margins of any industry. Generally, we buy jewelry for between 10-50% of retail prices, but there are always exceptions. What we can tell you is that you’ll get cash for it, on the spot.

How can I find out what it’s worth?
If your diamond came with a GIA (Gemological Institute of America) certificate or an AGS (American Gem Society) certificate, we can provide you with a firm offer over the phone or Internet. Otherwise, bringing jewelry and diamonds in for evaluation will be the most efficient way for you to receive an offer.

Can I reject your final offer after you examine it?
Yes, of course. In receiving a free quote, you are under zero obligation to accept our offer. We invite you to obtain comparison offers from other San Francisco diamond and jewelry buyers, experience has shown that most people come back and sell with us after comparing.

How do you determine the value of my gold or platinum?
After testing the karatage and weighing the item, we apply the current New York gold prices.

Should I sell to a local jeweler?
We have buyers worldwide. A local jewelry store is confined only to their local visitors. They resell the item to a company such as ours. It puts an unneeded party in the middle of the transaction, usually costing you.

Do you accept trades?
Yes, we accept many gold, platinum and diamond jewelry items in trade for jewelry that is for sale in our showroom. You’ll get 400% of the offer towards items for sale in our showroom. For example, if we our offer you $1,000 for your unwanted diamond ring, that $1,000 is good for a $4,000 purchase from our diamond, watch and jewelry selection.

Contact us if you’d like to be considered for consignment. In some cases, we will take a piece of diamond jewelry on consignment.

What types of jewelry do you purchase?
We are buyers of exceptional diamonds of 1.00 carat size and larger of I1 clarity and better. We purchase all shapes and cuts, even colored stones and diamonds that have been damaged.

What forms of payment do you make?
Cash or check. Your choice. If you decide to accept our offer for your diamond ring, Rolex watch or jewelry, then you will be paid in cash or with a business check. If you prefer to accept a check in payment, our bank is Wells Fargo, which is only 3 blocks away. Please note that cash payments over $10,000 are required by law to be reported to the I.R.S. No purchase of jewelry or diamonds is ever reported to the I.R.S.
